Once upon a time...

My husband Dave and I (Paula), started out making these little guys for our own garden. Our friends and family expressed interest in them and wanted some, and thus began the Junkyard Rescue.

As parts and pieces become available new rescues come alive. We hear yelps, meows and chirps, as the junkyards empty and new rescues are created. Although the rescue is something we really enjoy doing, we can only afford to do in our spare time, which there doesn't seem to be much of anymore. Right now most of our spare time is spent working on our new house, and I use the term loosely because it's six years old now, and is still isn't done.
